Kerala floods: At least 28 dead after heavy rains

At least 28 people have died after heavy rains triggered flooding in the state of Kerala in southern India.

In addition, more than 9,000 people are currently seeking shelter in camps set up across the state.

Weather forecasts for the region predict further heavy rainfall this week which could affect more areas.
