Khan tells Grenfell inquiry treatment of residents ‘a disgrace’

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has told the inquiry into the Grenfell disaster that the “dismissive treatment” of residents who had complained about fire risks was a “disgrace”.

Mr Khan was giving his statement during the third phase of the public inquiry, which is now looking into wider issues around social housing management, including how tenants’ concerns should be handled.
