Killamarsh murders: Review finds ‘unacceptable failings’ by probation service

A man who murdered his pregnant partner along with her two children and another child had been deemed safe to live with them as a result of ‘unacceptable’ failings by the probation service, according to a damning review.

Damien Bendall carried out the murders in Killamarsh in Derbyshire in 2021, despite having been recently released from prison with a history of violence and domestic abuse.
