King Charles receives Scottish crown jewels amid protests

There may have been a crown, a sceptre, a sword of state and a King – but it wasn’t a coronation.

With crowds of well-wishers, and some protestors, watching on – King Charles III came to St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh to be presented with what’s known as the Honours of Scotland.
