Labour conference: Starmer discusses plan to bring down NHS waiting lists

Events in Israel have overshadowed the start of the Labour Party conference, where leader Sir Keir Starmer has been discussing his plans to bring down NHS waiting lists. He wants to spend 1.1 billion pounds on overtime for doctors and nurses, so more procedures can be carried out. But will staff want to volunteer for extra evening and weekend shifts?
