Liam Fox hints at support for Article 50 delay

With just 629 hours or 26 days until the UK leaves the EU there have been more signs that Tory MPs are swinging behind the Prime Minister’s withdrawal agreement.

Leading Brexiteer, trade secretary Liam Fox suggested that he could support a delay to Article 50 to deliver a “smooth Brexit”.

And that risk of a delay seems to be having an effect on hardline Brexiteer backbenchers who helped inflict a defeat of historic proportions on Theresa May’s deal in January.
