Liberal Democrats and Greens urge government to scrap Covid passport plans

Caroline Lucas of the Green Party and Sir Ed Davey, leader of the Liberal Democrats say the government should scrap its ‘illiberal’ plans for Covid passports.

Lucas says the government should focus on ‘the basics’ of test, track and trace whilst Davey says the Conservatives cannot be trusted ‘with our freedoms.’
