‘Like living in a gas chamber’: the citizens suffering on Clean Air Day

Today is Clean Air Day – the UK’s largest air quality campaign embracing business, schools and the wider community which aims to highlight the dangers of air pollution.

One place where residents say those dangers have become all too real, is near a landfill site in Staffordshire.

Locals say the rubbish dump has been emitting a gas into the air that is making them sick and blighting their community.
