London hosts first all female boxing card

The victory of England’s Lionesses in the Euros this summer unleashed a wave of optimism and investment in women’s football, and now other sports are looking to get in on the act.

This Saturday will see a historic night of women’s boxing at London’s O2 arena – the first ever fully-female card, with top billing given to a clash between bitter rivals Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall.
