While she has increased her majority in her Brighton constituency at every election since she was first elected in 2010, the Greens failed to secure any more seats thanks in large part to Britain’s first-past-the-post electoral system.
We sat down with her in Brighton this afternoon and asked why she had decided to leave parliament.
