Man arrested as worshipper stabbed in London mosque attack

Last night’s shooting put Muslim communities across Europe on high alert for possible copy-cat attacks.

This afternoon there was a major police response after an elderly man was stabbed several times during prayers at Regent’s Park Mosque in London. A man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but police say they are NOT treating it as a terrorist incident.
