Man shot dead after fatal stabbing in Melbourne terror attack

A man wielding a knife has killed one person and injured two others in the Australian city of Melbourne, at the height of the busy afternoon rush hour. The attacker, originally from Somalia, died in hospital after he was shot by police, while bomb squad officers managed to deal with several gas cylinders inside his car, which he’d set on fire. The authorities say they’re treating it as terrorism.
