Man Utd Munich hero Harry Gregg dies at 87

He was known as the hero of the 1958 Munich air disaster. After the plane carrying the Manchester United team crashed on take off,  goalkeeper Harry Gregg returned twice to the burning fuselage to drag Bobby Charlton and other teammates and strangers to safety.

Had Harry Gregg, who has died aged 87, not been on board, the death toll of 23 could have been higher still.
