Man who took crossbow to “kill Queen” jailed for 9 years

A man who broke into Windsor Castle with a crossbow to kill the late Queen has been sentenced to nine years in jail for treason.

Jaswant Singh Chail – a 21-year-old Star Wars fan – said he’d been encouraged to carry out the plan by his AI girlfriend. He’s the first person to be convicted of treason in more than 40 years.
