May meets union leaders in bid to break Brexit deadlock

It’s been a long time since a Conservative prime minister has called trade union bosses to Downing Street for talks on policy. But today four union general secretaries were invited for separate chats with Theresa May about Brexit.

Also tonight, we report from Davos, where the chancellor has urged businesses to accept Brexit. But the aircraft manufacturer Airbus issued it’s starkest warning yet, saying it could move manufacturing out of the UK in the event of no deal.
