May quizzed on Brexit during cabinet away day

Theresa May took her cabinet on an away day to the north-east this morning – to Gateshead – billed as showing the government’s commitment to regional development. Mrs May wasn’t giving much away when she was asked about the chances of a no deal Brexit, although her Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt, on a visit to Germany, said only Russia’s President Putin would rejoice in such an outcome.
