May urges web giants to do more to combat extremist material

Theresa May has held a meeting with the Iranian president, one of many at the UN General Assembly. Later she’ll sit down with some of the biggest of the internet giants to demand they do more to tackle extremist material online. Along with the French President and Italian Prime Minister, Mrs May will meet executives at Facebook, Twitter and Microsoft to urge them to do more.
