The future of Doncaster Sheffield Airport has been plunged into doubt after bosses said it “may no longer be commercially viable”.
Formerly known as Robin Hood Airport, it has been hit by the decision of Wizz Air to stop flying from the site as well as the legacy of the coronavirus pandemic. Passengers have been told to plan their journeys as normal with the airport continuing to operate while what is being described as a “strategic review” is carried out.
