McDonald’s runs out of milkshakes in UK due to supply chain disruption

McDonald’s has run out of milkshakes and bottled drinks in all of its British restaurants.

The fast-food giant joins other retail and hospitality businesses complaining about supply chain issues. A shortage of lorry drivers – which hauliers say has been exacerbated by Brexit and the pandemic – is being blamed.
