6mMet Police Commissioner says he is determined to restore public trust
The commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Sir Mark Rowley has promised to build a robust style of neighbourhood policing in the capital.
At a gathering of community leaders today, Sir Mark said a series of recent scandals involving officers from his force had been very painful to all good officers, and insisted he was determined to make real progress to restore public trust.
