Met Police under fire for advising women stopped by lone officer to ‘wave down a bus’

The police watchdog is investigating five serving Met officers who are accused of sharing what are described as “discriminatory and inappropriate” WhatsApp messages with Sarah Everard’s murderer Wayne Couzens.

The Metropolitan Police have continued to face criticism, but Boris Johnson has said its Commissioner Cressida Dick shouldn’t resign
