Middle East: Pakistan kills nine people in retaliatory missiles strikes on Iran

In a further heightening of tensions in the region, Pakistan conducted military strikes on Iranian territory overnight.

That was in retaliation for Iran hitting sites in Pakistan on Tuesday.

It’s just the latest in a series of military exchanges in the Middle East with the US also striking the Houthis in Yemen yet again overnight, raising concerns about a growing regional conflict.
