Middle-East tension: Global pro-Palestine protests as Yemen Houthis vow revenge against US

Demonstrators have marched in 30 countries to protest against Israel’s continuing military action in Gaza.

Organisers hoped that numbers would be swelled by the case brought in the UN’s International Court of Justice by South Africa, which accuses Israel of genocide in Gaza.

The protests also came amid heightened international tensions as the USA carried out another airstrike in Yemen – this time against a Houthi radar base.
