Migrant boat tragedy: More than 60 people feared dead off coast of Cape Verde

Another migrant boat tragedy. This time in the East Atlantic. More than 60 people are feared to have died after their boat was found drifting off the coast of Cape Verde. 38 survivors were rescued, including four children.

They were said to be in a “bad state” after more than a month at sea. Concerned families had raised the alarm ten days after the boat left Senegal after failing to hear from their relatives on board.
