Millions left without electricity in Cuba suffers two nationwide blackouts

Cuba has been plunged into a nationwide blackout for the second time just hours after officials said power was restored.

10 million residents are left without electricity forcing schools and businesses to shut down.

Officials from the communist nation have blamed ageing infrastructure, damage from recent hurricanes and US economic sanctions for the widespread power cuts.
