Millions to be worse off still despite two per cent National Insurance cut

More than 20 million employees will pay less National Insurance from today. The Treasury says the two per cent cut will save the average earner around £450 a year. But opposition politicians say other tax changes will push many people into higher tax brackets so they won’t be any better off.
