Ministers split over future customs arrangement post-Brexit

Theresa May has spent this afternoon locked in discussions with her Brexit Cabinet Committee. Her team of senior cabinet minsters were trying to agree on what kind of post-Brexit customs arrangement Britain should have with the EU.

The Prime Minister has proposed two alternatives – but ministers are split over which solution to go with. And so far the European Union has been distinctly frosty about both of them.
