Missing Titanic submersible: 40 hours of oxygen left as search intensifies

They probably have forty hours left of oxygen – that’s according to officials from the US coast guard speaking to reporters an hour ago.

That also means forty hours to find the tiny sub in a vast patch of ocean, as deep as the Alps are high.

The operation to rescue the five passengers from the bottom of the sea is complex and costly and now involves planes and boats from Canada and the United States.
