More girls admitted to hospitals across Iran amid poisoning claims

More girls are said to have been admitted to hospitals across Iran, suffering from the effects of poisoning.

Local reports said one group of girls started feeling unwell after an improvised grenade exploded at their school.

Other alleged poisoning incidents in girls’ schools were reported at the weekend in eight provinces including Tehran, Isfahan, Khuzestan and Kurdistan.

The Iranian parliament has launched an investigation into the wave of poisoning attacks since last November.
