More hostages released as skirmishes threaten Israel-Hamas ceasefire

The truce between Israel and Hamas has continued for a fifth day, but it’s looking increasingly fragile after both sides accused each other of violations.

Under their extended deal, Hamas, which the UK has designated a terror group, has just freed another 12 hostages.

Qatar is hoping to build on the truce, holding talks with the leaders of the CIA and Mossad.

This as the UN warns that more people could die from disease than bombings if Gaza’s health system isn’t repaired quickly.
