Worst possible time for industrial action, NHS Confederation CEO warns

The NHS remains under severe pressure with the North East Ambulance Service today declaring a “critical incident,” while the situation could get worse with more strikes planned by ambulance workers, paramedics and nurses in January.

Ciaran Jenkins spoke to the Chief Executive of the NHS confederation – Matthew Taylor – and asked him how health services would be affected by the upcoming industrial action.
