More than 200 climate change protesters arrested for blocking roads in London

More than 200 climate change activists have now been arrested for blockading roads and disrupting traffic in central London, while police say half a million people have been affected by the gridlock on roads and the public transport diversions. And they warned the demonstrations are likely to continue for weeks, as Extinction Rebellion said they intended to “shut down” the capital until the end of the month.
