Rescuers in Morocco are racing against time to find survivors buried in rubble as the number of people killed in Friday’s earthquake nears 2,700.

The epicentre was in the High Atlas Mountains with most of those killed in remote areas.

Buildings also collapsed in Marrakesh and the quake was also felt in the capital Rabat.
