Most under-18s in UK will not receive Covid jab

Children and teenagers at higher risk from Covid because of medical conditions, or who live with people who are clinically vulnerable, will be offered the Pfizer jab “as soon as possible”, the vaccines minister has confirmed, along with young people who are about to turn 18.

But healthy children and teenagers won’t be routinely offered the vaccine for now, although Nadhim Zahawi said that’s being kept “under review”.
