Mother of Israeli-American hostage calls for end to violence against all innocents

In Gaza new tragedies are delivered every day. Here in Israel the heartbreak does not abate either with fresh funerals or constant worry about the fate of the hostages. The military now says 240 are currently being held in Gaza by Hamas.

One of them is Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23-years-old and a dual Israeli American citizen, he was taken into captivity over 3 weeks ago, having lost an arm in the attacks. We spoke to Rachel, his mother the week after Hersh was taken.

She has spent the following weeks desperate for news, meeting President Biden and speaking at the UN, appealing for the hostages to be released. When Matt met her again this week he asked how the last two weeks have been?
