Police close the M4 following a “serious crash” involving a lorry and a bus full of foreign tourists, in which two people are reported to have been injured.
Gwent police were called to the incident, between unctionms 25 and 26 on the motorway near Newport, Wales, just before 9.30am. Police said the incident had iinvolved a lorry, a bus, and a number of cars.
The driver and a passenger from the bus were injured in the crash, and have been taken to hospital. There were 57 foreign students from abroad on the bus, and they are being taken to a rest centre in Newport.
Police, fire and ambulance are at the scene, and the motorway remains closed in both directions.
