MP convicted of harassment gets suspended sentence

An MP who harassed a friend of her partner has been spared an immediate jail sentence.

Claudia Webbe, who’s been the Leicester East MP since 2019, was instead handed a suspended 10-week jail sentence and 200 hours’ of community service.
