MP faces eight-week suspension over groping incident

The government looks likely to face yet another by-election after parliament’s standards committee recommended an eight-week suspension for the former government Chief Whip Chris Pincher for drunkenly groping two men last summer.

We spoke to the former deputy mayor of Tamworth, Mr Pincher’s constituency, who last summer spoke about his MP’s inappropriate behaviour, but says he got no support and was frozen out by the Conservative party.
