MPs explore sanctions for former Post Office CEO after C4 News report

MPs are set to explore ‘all options on the table’ to sanction the former Post Office CEO Paula Venells for potentially misleading Parliament.

The cross-party Business and Trade select committee said today that it’s looking at taking action after Channel 4 News broadcast recordings showing it was likely she knew as early as 2013 that the accounting system used by Post Office branches could be remotely accessed and data changed.
