Music producer Don Was: the man behind Love Shack

He’s not a household name but he has worked with some of the greatest in pop music, among them The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Bob Dylan and Carly Simon.

Don Was was a key member of Detroit funk-rockers Was (Not Was). He is also the president of the seminal jazz label Blue Note, where he is breathing new life into the genre.
