Myanmar military forces victims to fight in brutal civil war (dubbed)

In the last of our series of films from inside the civil war in Myanmar, the power-hungry army was already detested by much of the population after they seized power in a coup three years ago.

Now, facing an unprecedented assault by a loose coalition of rebel forces, it has introduced a new conscription order to boost its depleted forces – increasing public anger and sending thousands fleeing the country.

The regime has even forcibly recruited members of the Rohingya minority, despite launching an horrific campaign of ethnic cleansing against the group.
