The World Health Organisation says Gaza’s second biggest hospital – which Israeli forces stormed on Thursday – is no longer functional.

Some 200 patients are still in the Nasser hospital in Khan Younis. But eight have reportedly died from a lack of oxygen, and sewage is flooding emergency rooms. Israel has been searching the complex for the bodies of hostages they believe were held there by Hamas.

And the Palestinian Red Crescent Society is warning that Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis could also be out of service soon. It’s been under siege for three weeks.
