Nelson Mandela meant many things to many different people around the world. Channel 4 News joined people paying their respects in London to ask what the “father of a nation” means to them.
Thousands of people have visited statues and shrines to the anti-apartheid leader in London, including his statue at Parliament Square and South Africa House in Trafalgar Square, where visitors can sign a book of remembrance.
