Net UK migration falls to lowest level in three years

It’s been dubbed the ‘Brexodus’ – thousands of EU nationals have left the UK since last year’s referendum. But that’s not the only reason that net migration into the country has fallen to its lowest level for three years. Figures based on actual exit checks show that contrary to previous estimates – tens of thousands of overseas students aren’t overstaying their visas – but leaving when they finish their course.
