Netanyahu facing protests over corruption charges and coronavirus response

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing continued protests over charges of corruption and unease at his handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

The embattled leader denies the charges but in recent weeks a sharp rise in cases and booming unemployment have energised the protests calling for him to be removed.
