Netanyahu vows strong response after deadly Golan Heights strike blamed on Hezbollah

Foreign Affairs Correspondent

The Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed a harsh response against Hezbollah – after a rocket attack in the Golan Heights which left twelve children and teenagers dead.

Mr Netanyahu visited the scene in the mainly Druze town of Majdal Shams, in an area occupied by Israel.

Hezbollah has denied being behind the attack – although both Israel and the United States say the Iranian-backed milita group were responsible.

Our foreign affairs correspondent Secunder Kermani reports.
