New Orleans attacker was acting alone, says FBI

A former college football player, an 18 year old about to start her nursing training, a young mother, a high school graduate, many of the 14 New Orleans victims were celebrating the new year and a new chapter of their lives.

FBI officials say the suspect who killed them was “100% inspired” by the militant Islamic State group – as more details of their investigation emerged.
