NHS worker badly hurt after being hit by car in suspected racist attack

An NHS worker in Bristol has been told by doctors that he’s lucky to be alive after a car was deliberately driven at him in what police have said is a racially-aggravated incident.

The deputy mayor of Bristol has described the attack on the 21-year-old as “appalling and sickening”.
