NI political leaders begin powersharing talks after 841 days without government

Talks have resumed at Stormont today between the main political parties in Northern Ireland in an attempt to restore a powersharing government.

The first fully-fledged discussions since negotiations collapsed in February last year come in the wake of the murder last month of 29-year-old journalist Lyra McKee.
