Nigel Farage elected as MP on eighth attempt as support surges for Reform UK

The right wing populist Reform UK party has now got 4 MPs in the Commons – with a surge in support in parts of the country… coming second in 98 seats.

The party’s leader Nigel Farage, who originally said he wouldn’t be standing in this election, succeeded on his eighth attempt to get into Parliament.
